What is it and what is it for?
It is a sterile tear that lubricates and moisturises the conjunctiva and cornea, helping to stabilise the tear film at times when dry eye syndrome forms or when recovering from refractive surgery.
It also helps to relieve tired eyes or when they are reddened due to environmental causes, excessive fatigue from spending so much time in front of the computer, or when suffering from eye inflammation due to cosmetic surgery of the eyelids or the continuous use of contact lenses or chronic blepharitis.
Its formula contains cross-linked hyaluronic acid, a substance that helps resist the degradation of hyaluronidases, which provide lubrication and hydration to the eyeball.
It also forms a special mesh that helps to hold water for prolonged periods of time on the surface of the cornea and conjunctiva. At the same time, it supports the lubricating properties of natural hyaluronic acid and enhances its moisturising effects. It also helps to scavenge free radicals and provide increased protection of the corneal surface.
