What is it and what is it for?
Sikapur for cold sores is a gel that is used to quickly and effectively treat all the discomfort caused by the blisters that appear due to cold sores on the lips. It is made in the Vitae laboratories and is formulated with silicic acid, a completely natural mineral which, when combined with water, produces silica gel.
This product has a great power of absorption, which is why it attracts molecules to itself, to help dry the lesion on the lip, helping to prevent the development of new blisters. It is rich in 1,5-pentanediol, a compound that provides antifungal and antimicrobial properties, which help reduce and prevent pain and inflammation of lesions.
It has a high content of alpha-bisabolol, a plant extract that has great regenerative capacity, healing and soothing properties, ideal for delicate and sensitive skin. Thanks to its active ingredients, Sikapur provides relief from itching and burning sensations, helping to dry wounds and activate the rapid healing process.
The product can be used from the first symptoms, as it acts from the first application, approximately one hour later. It does not contain gluten or lactose. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Vitae Sikapur is indicated for adults suffering from the symptoms caused by cold sores.
Instructions for use
Apply Sikapur gel with a cotton swab or clean fingertip to the affected area. Up to five times a day, every 4 hours.
For best results, it can be applied from the onset of the first symptoms of herpes until the herpes has completely healed. In order to avoid the spread of infection, it is suggested to wash hands before and after application of the product. Also, properly close the tube after each dose.
Contraindications
Clinically, the use of this product has not been proven to cause side effects. However, if any unfavourable reaction is observed, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Do not use if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of the components of the formula. Keep in a cool place and out of reach of children. Product for external use only. Not suitable for babies.
